In the 6th match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalju Vint to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Florian Capasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Capasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fabian Meleșcanu got a free kick in the 11th minute. Abram Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. The supporters of Colombia booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florian Capasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Capasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Pascual Carballar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon did a great save. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fábio Trevisan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Tafalla, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Mastache in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro-Facundo Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Hélder Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 83rd minute of play. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Kevin Mastache scored to the left of an out of position Mauro-Facundo Buffon, making the score, 0-2. Hélder Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 95th minute of play. When Ignacio Mastache, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mauro-Facundo Buffon was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
