An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Dubilas in the 8th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kazimierz Luty made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Julio Vera was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Radoslaw Byczewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Radoslaw Byczewski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sails Stitinum's Kazimierz Luty. Kazimierz Luty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kazimierz Luty came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radoslaw Byczewski got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes Sails Stitinum's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Juan Sebastián Puig got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-5. 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sails Stitinum's Kazimierz Luty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Sails Stitinum got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Wolczewski. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Beniamin Wolczewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho scored 1-6 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Luty, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kazimierz Luty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 70 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kazimierz Luty was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kazimierz Luty made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. After a defensive mix-up in Sails Stitinum's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Luty came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kazimierz Luty. Sails Stitinum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. A collision led to Sails Stitinum getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Iwo Dobrzechowski hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kazimierz Luty. Sails Stitinum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-11. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kazimierz Luty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Agustín Saelices reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kazimierz Luty. The goal made the score 1-12. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sails Stitinum throughout the match.
