Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Senna in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuncer Doğu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Artur Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tuncer Doğu was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Senna in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuncer Doğu saved FC SOLOTHURN from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Senna to make the kick off. If Panait Stolniciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC SOLOTHURN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
