Club 23's Sören Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Echezonachukwu Håland in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Còrdoba FC's Marco Ceandro got a free kick in the 8th minute. Real Còrdoba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Cássio Dracena scored to the left of an out of position Angelino Helguera, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Echezonachukwu Håland in the 17th minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Druțu Daniel fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club 23's protests and gave Druțu Daniel a yellow card for diving instead. Druțu Daniel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Real Còrdoba FC's Angelino Helguera got control of the ball when Cássio Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cássio Dracena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelino Helguera, 2-0. Angelino Helguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
