Mai Quan Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zlatan Buffon having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Quan Peng came free, but Zlatan Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Jordan F1 91-05 got a freekick which was hit by Nazeer Mhlathe. Zlatan Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Quan Peng in the 20th minute of play. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mai Quan Peng sped through Jordan F1 91-05's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zlatan Buffon. Einar Klysnov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronnie Peterson in the 25th minute. Einar Klysnov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The wind increased when Mai Quan Peng made the kick off in the second half.
