The corner led Jordan F1 91-05's Matthias Colin to fire away a dangerous shot which Ortíz Relloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ortíz Relloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nazeer Mhlathe's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Nazeer Mhlathe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ortíz Relloso was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tin Santamaria in the 9th minute of play forced Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Zlatan Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ortíz Relloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ortíz Relloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Nilsson in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazeer Mhlathe in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ortíz Relloso saved CANTERANOS DMS from getting behind. The supporters of Jordan F1 91-05 booed when CANTERANOS DMS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugutz Burualla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Nilsson's late challenge caught a CANTERANOS DMS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Nilsson helped the player get up and apologised. Wiktor Hodyl kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nazeer Mhlathe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnar Nilsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ortíz Relloso. That made the score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. Jordan F1 91-05's Per-Erik Öfverman was substituted for Ronnie Peterson. 80 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Ortíz Relloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazeer Mhlathe. 84 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's Gunnar Nilsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ortíz Relloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nazeer Mhlathe got free with Ortíz Relloso in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute of the match, Gunnar Nilsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ortíz Relloso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ortíz Relloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The CANTERANOS DMS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jordan F1 91-05's performance. The match ended with a win for Jordan F1 91-05.
