When Moise Tomulescu fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Còrdoba FC's protests and gave Moise Tomulescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Còrdoba FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Moise Tomulescu hit a great ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Còrdoba FC's goalkeeper Angelino Helguera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute Axl Rose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Helguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Tomulescu in the 13th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Benjamin Erruki heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 24th minute Echezonachukwu Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Axl Rose. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Howling Dawn U18's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernando Abascal was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Còrdoba FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Echezonachukwu Håland drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper. 32 minutes into the match Echezonachukwu Håland climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Santos Hori. Echezonachukwu Håland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Hori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Tomulescu in the 38th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Echezonachukwu Håland in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Real Còrdoba FC's Angelino Helguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axl Rose in the 50th minute of play. In the 54th minute, Moises Belo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the last second Angelino Helguera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Axl Rose in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Abascal came free, but Santos Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes, Arsenio Bento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Còrdoba FC and the Howling Dawn U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Astor Manilan replaced Juan Bittor. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Scott Weiland replaced Axl Rose. Real Còrdoba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Tomulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Hori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Belo to maneuver through the defense. Santos Hori had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Fernando Abascal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Real Còrdoba FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
