An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 3rd minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Manoel Loarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Loarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Cioran in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 13th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Manoel Loarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Dracena in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Bogdan Bogdanović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manoel Loarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cássio Dracena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Loarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Manoel Loarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Dracena went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Cordearo Bertiz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Betadur Medel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manoel Loarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Manoel Loarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Alvarez to make the kick off. Manoel Loarte came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club 23's Cássio Dracena. But to his dismay, Cássio Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Bogdanović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manoel Loarte was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Cássio Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Manoel Loarte made a huge save. Volodya Kirov's late challenge caught a Montevideo City Torque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Volodya Kirov helped the player get up and apologised. Volodya Kirov hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes of play, Club 23's Cássio Dracena made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manoel Loarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manoel Loarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 75th minute of the match. When Club 23's Cássio Dracena in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montevideo City Torque's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Dracena in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manoel Loarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes Montevideo City Torque's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dacian Săraru who took care of the corner kick. Club 23's Dacian Săraru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manoel Loarte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte got control of the ball when Cássio Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manoel Loarte. Manoel Loarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. When the match was over Club 23 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Montevideo City Torque throughout the match.
