Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guo Ke Peng in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute Guo Ke Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Zygmunt Bielejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute STAL ST WOLA were awarded a corner. Michel Batistuta went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 10 minutes, Rickard Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingpins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kingpins's zone, Zygmunt Bielejewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan Leblanc came out of the goal and Zygmunt Bielejewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Guo Ke Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Domin. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Ke Peng in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Rickard Lundgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Matai. STAL ST WOLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rickard Lundgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kingpins's attentive Arrigo Tonon managed to snatch the ball when Gu Xiao Kun made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Kingpins's Karl Trulsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gu Xiao Kun, made in the 26th minute of the game. Roman Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rickard Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Henning Strömqvist got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Rickard Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to STAL ST WOLA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gu Xiao Kun hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Rickard Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Matai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Guo Ke Peng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Roman Matai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to STAL ST WOLA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Çağlar Soyuncu hit a great ball. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Lindstrøm in the 46th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rickard Lundgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rickard Lundgren came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roman Matai could save by the left post. Chris Lindstrøm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Matai having to interfere. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when Kingpins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stiff Rambo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Zygmunt Bielejewski made a precise shot to the right of Brendan Leblanc. Kingpins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Guo Ke Peng took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Matai. Roman Matai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 70th minute of play. Brendan Leblanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Lech in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute Mikolaj Lech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağlar Soyuncu to maneuver through the defense. Kingpins made a substitution. Elliot Wallin replaced Ove Ahlström. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Çağlar Soyuncu got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Rickard Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Matai was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Rickard Lundgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Matai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Roman Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Mikolaj Lech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 91st minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Strömqvist hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. STAL ST WOLA made a substitution. Patryk Glogowski replaced Michel Batistuta. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Henning Strömqvist hit a great ball. The Kingpins supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kingpins would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
