Kingpins's Brendan Leblanc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 2nd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Ábel Pasqualini. 6 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goalkeeper Brendan Leblanc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Cioran. Sören Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 10th minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rickard Lundgren sped through Club 23's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sören Malmberg. Sören Malmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guo Ke Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The throw-in from Ove Ahlström in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club 23's Dacian Săraru. Sören Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Druțu Daniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sören Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guo Ke Peng in the 23rd minute of play. Nae Lalescu made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kingpins's Karl Trulsson. In the 26th minute Guo Ke Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Săraru. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickard Lundgren in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sören Malmberg saved Club 23 from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Lundgren got free with Sören Malmberg in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Ferdinand Voicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Rickard Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sören Malmberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Brendan Leblanc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Kingpins made a substitution. Roger Västerstrand replaced Guo Ke Peng. Dacian Săraru kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Volodya Kirov fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club 23's protests and gave Volodya Kirov a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Volodya Kirov. 86 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Lindstrøm came free, but Sören Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Voicu to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Ábel Pasqualini managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal.
