After some careless play in the CANTERANOS DMS defense, Fernando Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ortíz Relloso. The CANTERANOS DMS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ortíz Relloso should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mikel Arteta sped through CANTERANOS DMS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ortíz Relloso. Moise Tomulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Abascal came free, but Ortíz Relloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ortíz Relloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Echezonachukwu Håland in the 18th minute of play. Moise Tomulescu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ortíz Relloso. Ortíz Relloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in CANTERANOS DMS's zone, Mikel Arteta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ortíz Relloso came out of the goal and Mikel Arteta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Fernando Abascal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Còrdoba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CANTERANOS DMS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Real Còrdoba FC's Echezonachukwu Håland got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Tin Santamaria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelino Helguera. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 37th minute Fernando Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ortíz Relloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Còrdoba FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Abascal in the 39th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Baldomero Sotil heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Chiriboga Campuzano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Angelino Helguera made a huge save. In the 47th minute Echezonachukwu Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ortíz Relloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Moise Tomulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ortíz Relloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ortíz Relloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Tomulescu in the 58th minute of the match. Angelino Helguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Quizan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Quizan struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Angelino Helguera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANTERANOS DMS. Ysmael Golpe's late challenge caught a Real Còrdoba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ysmael Golpe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, CANTERANOS DMS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysmael Golpe to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Echezonachukwu Håland in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ortíz Relloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Còrdoba FC's Mikel Arteta was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Còrdoba FC's Marco Ceandro got a free kick in the 67th minute. Angelino Helguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tin Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiriboga Campuzano in the 77th minute of play forced Real Còrdoba FC's goalkeeper Angelino Helguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Helguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiriboga Campuzano in the 79th minute of play. Real Còrdoba FC's Angelino Helguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tin Santamaria in the 80th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Real Còrdoba FC got a freekick which was hit by Echezonachukwu Håland. Ortíz Relloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Echezonachukwu Håland went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score.
