Sören Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Alvarez in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Alvarez in the 15th minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Dracena in the 19th minute of play. Club 23's Cássio Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montevideo City Torque's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dacian Săraru was slow to take the kick. During this time Club 23's players had a chance to rest. Manoel Loarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Bogdanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Manoel Loarte managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Club 23's Cássio Dracena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Dracena in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manoel Loarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Cássio Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manoel Loarte. Montevideo City Torque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 57 minutes into the match, Club 23's Cássio Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manoel Loarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cássio Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Cássio Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manoel Loarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 67th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Manoel Loarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cássio Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Loarte came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club 23's Cássio Dracena. But to his dismay, Cássio Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Cássio Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manoel Loarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Betadur Medel in the 82 minute of the game. Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Dracena in the 83rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Bogdan Bogdanović put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Manoel Loarte. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Matías Longo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Dacian Săraru hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Club 23 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
