Inocencio Gartzen's late challenge caught a Penuel Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Black Mamba's Constantino Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Rojas in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Penuel Football Club's Niceto Ovalle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Cresitobalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. When Penuel Football Club's Niceto Ovalle in 44 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Constantino Cresitobalo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramos Cuyar in the 46th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Constantino Cresitobalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Penuel Football Club were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Oskitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro Eleder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eron Reguer having to make a save. Penuel Football Club's Veronica Vielva shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Constantino Cresitobalo but with some difficulty. Constantino Cresitobalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramos Cuyar's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Rojas got free with Constantino Cresitobalo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Ramos Cuyar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Cresitobalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Ramos Cuyars short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Constantino Cresitobalo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goalkeeper Constantino Cresitobalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramos Cuyar. 90 minutes into the game, Veronica Vielva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penuel Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Mamba the free kick. The supporters of Black Mamba booed when Penuel Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veronica Vielva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Penuel Football Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Mamba throughout the match.
