After having played for 19 minutes, Pastor Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xeneizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Benat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Perfecto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Benat in the 22nd minute of play forced Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Fernan Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Mario Chabier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Benat, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Palban during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Benat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Perfecto to make the kick off. A hard shot by Ariel Salvatore from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Fernan Guillen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 69 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Adan Quinton. Lino Selmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victor Benat. Xeneizes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Edgardo Salomone got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Alfredo Haitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Benicio Perfecto in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Xeneizes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Tiki Tiki the free kick. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Aaron Mingo got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Musko came free, but Victor Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Defensores del Tiki Tiki had played much better football throughout.
