After a rather tough play, Profecías de Parravicini's Enrique Gumaro got a free kick in the 6th minute. Haroldo Erasto struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Santo Tohias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpo de Bahia Blanca. Saturnino Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Profecías de Parravicini's zone, Haroldo Erasto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Tohias came out of the goal and Haroldo Erasto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Profecías de Parravicini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Estebano to maneuver through the defense. Santo Tohias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Estebano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Profecías de Parravicini's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Reyes in the 28th minute of play forced Profecías de Parravicini's goalkeeper Santo Tohias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Santo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Ermegildo Fero got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Reyes made a kick off. Santo Tohias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Horado in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Profecías de Parravicini's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Uzuri came free, but Santo Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Baltasar Irrintzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santo Tohias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Faustino Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Servando in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Servando in the 77th minute of play forced Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Faustino Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Janpier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Profecías de Parravicini's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Uzuri came free, but Santo Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Uzuri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Profecías de Parravicini's Santo Tohias got control of the ball when Gilberto Horado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olimpo de Bahia Blanca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
