In the 38th minute, Mateo Libertad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eron Reguer. The goal made the score 2-0. Jonatan Herauso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. Julio Quinten had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Niceto Ovalle's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Sajones F.C.'s Clemente Gonzales got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Cresenciano Armental. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ovalle in the 55th minute of play forced Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Julio Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Bingen hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match.
