Mario Chabier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Romulo Ursino made a huge save. Romulo Ursino was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Benicio Perfecto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benicio Perfecto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Benicio Perfecto came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Perfecto couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
