Shohoku FC:s Tamariz Saul showed great skill when he stopped Gaudencio Inautzi:s penalty. In the 22nd minute, Camilo Dalmu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Abelardo Jaunzuria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FMArgentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shohoku FC the free kick. After 26 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Jaunzuria. Tamariz Saul made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Arnulfo Osoitz sent off a good shot on target. Celso Macerio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Shohoku FC's Tamariz Saul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Shohoku FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Josías Daire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tamariz Saul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Jaunzuria in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Shohoku FC's Savier Guzmán got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 43 minutes of play, Shohoku FC's Firmín Navarro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shohoku FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salomone Irizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shohoku FC's Tamariz Saul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Jaunzuria in the 56th minute of play. Abelardo Jaunzuria was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 66 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Firmín Navarro came free, but Romulo Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
