With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Textex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Angel Mantzio got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Francis in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Textex saved KYRA FC from getting behind. Vinicio Tibalt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Elija read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, KYRA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Argi to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Lino Selmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Textex skillfully saved the ball. Vinicio Tibalt hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Lino Selmo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Textex came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensores del Tiki Tiki reached it. In the 42nd minute, Vinicio Tibalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Mantzio was the one to do the kick off. After 66th play minutes Angel Mantzio shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Richard Textex and just under the crossbar into goal. Gerardo Haritz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, KYRA FC's Vinicio Tibalt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseo Elija came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KYRA FC reached it. Mario Chabier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Richard Textex when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vinicio Tibalt's late challenge caught a Defensores del Tiki Tiki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Tibalt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Vinicio Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Selmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Textex. KYRA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Angel Mantzio came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Mantzio couldn't finish the play.
