Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Müller got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jess Carnduff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Müller in the 7th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Müller, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 22 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Rydel in the 25th minute of play. Jess Carnduff came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 34th minute of the match Alemannia Aachen got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateusz Rydel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Kottsieper in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateusz Rydel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jess Carnduff came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Müller in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Müller in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Alemannia Aachen's Thomas Müller. But to his dismay, Thomas Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Jess Carnduff however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jess Carnduff in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jess Carnduff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Müller in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Rydel in the 85th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Mateusz Rydel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador played a much better game than Alemannia Aachen and deserved their victory. The Alemannia Aachen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
