Gaspar Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Gilesindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Chile booed when Paranhos Ariranha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Honorato Afonso was substituted for Guillermo Baleren. After 48 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Felix Garrido.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão Mattos to make the kick off. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 93rd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo. Gaspar Gilesindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
