In the 12th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Squadron Pancho 95's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 13 minutes into the match, Squadron Pancho 95's goalkeeper Maksymilian Raflewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Maksymilian Raflewski in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Nati De Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurèle Banks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurèle Banks's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Aurèle Banks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Squadron Pancho 95 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Nati De Negri hit a great ball. Squadron Pancho 95's Gogo Eneas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Squadron Pancho 95 the free kick. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Squadron Pancho 95 defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maksymilian Raflewski. The Squadron Pancho 95 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maksymilian Raflewski should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Aurèle Banks recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Aurèle Banks showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Aurèle Banks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Squadron Pancho 95 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Txaran charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Txaran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Squadron Pancho 95 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 94th minute of play forced Squadron Pancho 95's goalkeeper Maksymilian Raflewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ecuador fans cheered their team off the field, for while Squadron Pancho 95 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
