In the 8th minute, Wilfredo Gitano made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Gitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the game, Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 26th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Yang Yao Kuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yang Yao Kuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Gitano came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Gitano might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Gitano ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Gitano in the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Wilfredo Gitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Wilfredo Gitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Gitano made the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Wilfredo Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Gitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tadeo Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Gitano's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 71st minute. The Jarana FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ismael Guillelmus hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Gitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Gitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Gitano in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tadeo Distiratsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Gitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After having played for 95 minutes, Wilfredo Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Gitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Jarana FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
