Francisco Seco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. Ronny Blom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Gisbert went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maximiliano Escribano 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. In the 27th minute, Hermanö Oilers's Elliot Majman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elliot Majman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hermanö Oilers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elliot Majman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Hermanö Oilers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. 30 minutes into the game, Alberto Gisbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ronny Blom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Hermanö Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Hermanö Oilers's Ronny Blom. Ronny Blom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Bryngelsson came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. If Wilhelm Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Cane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Blom having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Ronny Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Beldad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Blom having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Anders Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermanö Oilers's Ronny Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Cane in the 76th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Blom was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. 85 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Ronny Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ronny Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Blom was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uruguay had played much better football throughout.
