The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serkan Günden. After having played for 29 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 乔义竞, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Serkan Günden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Serkan Günden hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 乔义竞 in the 40th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when 乔义竞 came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serkan Günden. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. LA COSA NOSTRA's Leal Valido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save LA COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Bebeto Aguiar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 乔义竞 in the 60th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Gabriel Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leal Valido. That made the score 0-4 in the 78 minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when 乔义竞 came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leal Valido saved LA COSA NOSTRA from getting behind. The supporters of Panama booed when LA COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serkan Günden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense.
