With an all-out effort, Swindon Sweden FF's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Melker Aspengren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute of the match Swindon Sweden FF got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brian Falck ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Brian Falck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Swindon Sweden FF's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Tino came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Greger Hääger hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Swindon Sweden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Reynaldo Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Tino having to interfere. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swindon Sweden FF's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Marcus Östman tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Marcus Östman put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Falck in the 31st minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reynaldo Tino. Swindon Sweden FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40th minute, Kurt Haglund fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Swindon Sweden FF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Marcus Östman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swindon Sweden FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Falck in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Falck's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Östman in the 60th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Marcus Östman sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Kurt Haglund struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swindon Sweden FF. Swindon Sweden FF made a substitution. Algot Spets replaced Kurt Haglund. In the 76thth minute of the game Marcus Östman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Swindon Sweden FF's Algot Spets. But to his dismay, Algot Spets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 82nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Swindon Sweden FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
