Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Belém in the 6th minute of the match. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 俞冰帆 having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Diego Belém made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Diego Belém's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Diego Belém kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Albirex Niigata FC's Diego Belém. But to his dismay, Diego Belém quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Belém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Diego Belém notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Belém in the 38th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. 俞冰帆 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Albirex Niigata FC's zone, Luca Espinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 俞冰帆 came out of the goal and Luca Espinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Sancho during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Albirex Niigata FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes, Diego Belém made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 俞冰帆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Diego Belém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Diego Belém tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Diego Belém put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. In the 66th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞冰帆 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 68th minute. It was a well-played corner which Christian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. 俞冰帆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Diego Belém had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Belém was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Diego Belém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Albirex Niigata FC's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Diego Belém was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Belém got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Belém did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-9 to the left of a surprised Lautaro Navarro 89 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Belém got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Albirex Niigata FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
