Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Marieholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. Björn Jespersson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Marieholm getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Anders Bennet hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Lukas Lind with Björn Jespersson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Malcolm Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Björn Jespersson sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the game, Björn Jespersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Björn Jespersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 41 minutes into the game, Marieholm's Malcolm Påk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Påk came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Söderberg in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Mårtensson having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Persson in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Daniel Persson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marieholm's Sture Söderberg. But to his dismay, Sture Söderberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 78 minutes into the match, Björn Jespersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Björn Jespersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Björn Jespersson struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marieholm. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Tomas Illescas off the ground. In the 87th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Lukas Lind with Charlie Söderberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lukas Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes in the game, Patricio Costa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christian Mårtensson having to interfere. Marieholm were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
