Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gust Swiggers got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Billberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Xhoris were awarded a corner. Gust Swiggers went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Xhoris's corner Gust Swiggers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Freek Jongbloedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita got in the 17th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Richard Billberg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hatta Baso during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Xhoris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hatta Baso to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Gust Swiggers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Gust Swiggers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 26 played minutes Xhoris got a freekick which was hit by Hatta Baso. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Gust Swiggers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xhoris's supporters rose to their feet, but Gust Swiggers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Xhoris getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hatta Baso hit a great ball. Richard Billberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Xhoris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Billberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. When Samuel Roosendael came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Xhoris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Roosendael couldn't finish the play. Richard Billberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 48 minutes, Samuel Roosendael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xhoris and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Xhoris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Roosendael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gust Swiggers in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xhoris's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Billberg came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Xhoris's goalkeeper Richard Billberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xhoris's Richard Billberg did a great save. Xhoris's Hatta Baso got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Hatta Baso off the ground. Xhoris's Zapryan Vasov was substituted for Freek Jongbloedt. In a very dangerous position, a player in Xhoris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute of the game, Ecuador got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Gust Swiggers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gust Swiggers in the 90th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Billberg having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Richard Billberg, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Richard Billberg in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Xhoris.
