In the 16th minute Jurek Ohrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaimo Liiva kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Eliseo Mina fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jacek Matuch, passed just outside the right post. Jacek Matuch made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Patrick Josselin made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Patrick Josselin in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 36 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Ksawery Rzeszutko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bad Harzburg and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Milagros Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mathias Schulten kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Éthan Pichard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Éthan Pichard didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-1 via right post in the game's 84th minute. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Loi in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Gallo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Matuch saved SV Bad Harzburg from getting behind. After having played for 92 minutes, Jurek Ohrem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurek Ohrem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SV Bad Harzburg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
