In the 17th match minute, Honkens Bengaler BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Zhen Chuan to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honkens Bengaler BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Vennersten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Witkowski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and William Vennersten could save by the left post. William Vennersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Honkens Bengaler BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
