Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roby Baggio got the match started through his kick off. Elvijs Presley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvijs Presley. After 7 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Moises Gayoso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvijs Presley in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Holm threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. Johnny Banks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Banks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Elvijs Presley scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 1-1. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vilhelm Holm in the 40 minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Peru's Johnny Banks threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Malmö White Knights's Johnny Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Evert Taube sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa skillfully saved the ball. Johnny Banks made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Johnny Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johnny Banks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Jim Ahlroht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 91st play minutes Rafael Gallo shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Johnny Banks and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Malmö White Knights defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Banks. The Malmö White Knights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Banks should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
