The score was now 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Moises Fernandino took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sílvio Pires to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jorge Magrina got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jackson Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Paulo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Mateo Leguizamo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Leguizamo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Magrina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sílvio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Pires. Sílvio Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 32 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Eusébio Tepedino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Sílvio Pires in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. César Severo made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jackson Nascimento immediately put the ball in play. Jorge Magrina made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Murilo Sanches. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jackson Nascimento made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. ATHLETICO PRaiano's José Paulo Almeida quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Mateo Leguizamo in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's José Paulo Almeida. Sílvio Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ATHLETICO PRaiano's José Paulo Almeida. Jackson Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jackson Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Joshua Curbelo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Moises Fernandino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATHLETICO PRaiano's Sílvio Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Valentino Ferrant in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Eusébio Tepedino. 82 minutes in the game Mateo Leguizamo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abram Luque. After 86 minutes, Márcio Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATHLETICO PRaiano and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Márcio Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Joshua Curbelo made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abram Luque immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 93rd minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Sílvio Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the ATHLETICO PRaiano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Salvador.
