Hawk Tuah FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Big Dickey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Giuliano Garro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holer Nolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Fontes got free with Holer Nolan in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Stachurska in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Mosezzo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
