Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 8 in the game by Dionisio Hidalgo from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 11th minute Atlético Maravilla were awarded a corner. Anders Söderlund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Anders Söderlund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Quentin Gonzalez in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Quentin Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Atlético Maravilla booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zarando Lastras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Dionisio Hidalgo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Atlético Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Hidalgo couldn't finish the play. Quentin Gonzalez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Dionisio Hidalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Hidalgo in the 35th minute of play. Quentin Gonzalez took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Quentin Gonzalez could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Quentin Gonzalez took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

In the 53rd minute, Dionisio Hidalgo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 59th minute, Quentin Gonzalez made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play forced Atlético Maravilla's goalkeeper Zarando Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leopoldo de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Atlético Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quentin Gonzalez in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Zarando Lastras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Maravilla's Dionisio Hidalgo. But to his dismay, Dionisio Hidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarando Lastras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlético Maravilla's Shawn Seracino Inglott was substituted for Dionisio Hidalgo. When Atlético Maravilla's Quentin Gonzalez in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Quentin Gonzalez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Atlético Maravilla's Shawn Seracino Inglott got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quentin Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Anders Söderlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Shawn Seracino Inglott left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Maravilla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
