In the 29th minute Mário Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Jacinto in the 34th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Jacinto in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Joshua Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Sá went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Bolivia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fenix Futebol Clube were winning 0-3.

In the 70th minute, Bolivia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reynaldo Jacinto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Diogo Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Fenix Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bolivia.
