Rahim Kornes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 26th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rahim Kornes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Bejrut in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rahim Kornes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Jostein Røvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Wei Yun in the 94th minute of play.
