An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play forced Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Omar Falleto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Falleto was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 33 minutes in the game, Juan Carlos Messi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Ladislao Tristan made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Dunixi came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Los Podridos ll getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ladislao Tristan hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Rafael Gallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Omar Falleto. The goal made the score 1-3. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Omar Falleto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
