An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Franz Nötzel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The C.D. Turleque fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when C.D. Turleque's Franz Nötzel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Sergiu Socoriceanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Sergiu Socoriceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match, Franz Nötzel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergiu Socoriceanu. C.D. Turleque's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franz Nötzel in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergiu Socoriceanu got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fortunato Orbiz. Fortunato Orbiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 45 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Turleque the free kick. In the 45th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergiu Socoriceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aad Ak hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Mel Pais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Jose Correa made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Orbiz. C.D. Turleque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Sergiu Socoriceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Sergiu Socoriceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, C.D. Turleque's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fortunato Orbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.D. Turleque's Zvonimir Marković quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Aad Ak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Volodya kalúpchiyski made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zvonimir Marković however managed to control. The C.D. Turleque fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when C.D. Turleque's Sergiu Socoriceanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute, Sergiu Socoriceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 5-3 from a short distance just to the right of Fortunato Orbiz. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Orbiz having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Nötzel in the 95th minute of play.
