The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Portillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Saturnino Romo might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicky Donda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Romo ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicky Donda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Hugo Villaverde threw the ball into play from the sideline. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Luis Frisco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 18 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Ugutz came free, but Silvano Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Dedê Donatello in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nouvelle Vague's Hugo Villaverde. Casimiro Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvano Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 22nd minute of play. Casimiro Ugutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Saturnino Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Romo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicky Donda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Cordera hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Romo in the 45th minute of play forced Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Vicky Donda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Saturnino Romo made the kick off in the second half. Vicky Donda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Liljeström in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Hugo Villaverde threw the ball into play from the sideline. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Dedê Donatello quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nouvelle Vague made a substitution. Osmar Vale replaced Vito Genovese. Nouvelle Vague's Delmiro Emeterio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dedê Donatello in the 59 minute of the game. Saturnino Romo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicky Donda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Jerzy Marchefka replaced Saturnino Romo. Dedê Donatello made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nouvelle Vague's Hugo Villaverde. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jerzy Marchefka managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Marchefka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicky Donda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Frisco's late challenge caught a Nouvelle Vague's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Frisco helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Luis Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Portillo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerzy Marchefka got free with Vicky Donda in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicky Donda made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jerzy Marchefka sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Dedê Donatello in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nouvelle Vague's Hugo Villaverde. Jerzy Marchefka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicky Donda came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerzy Marchefka slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute, Jerzy Marchefka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 96 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Marchefka came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The Nouvelle Vague supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s performance. The match ended with a win for ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆.
