Pedro Manzanares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Toader Vancea. 22 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Selami Baycan came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Apalasuka Moco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hurboc's Ignacio Quintun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Quintun was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 36th minute Apalasuka Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ignacio Quintun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ignacio Quintun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Dantae hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Hurboc's goalkeeper Ignacio Quintun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apalasuka Moco in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Hurboc's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Ignacio Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 71st minute of play. Piotr Przewozik kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hurboc's Piotr Przewozik got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Theobald in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Colombia's Abram Secada got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Quintun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 94th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apalasuka Moco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
