The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Roberto Nirvana scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th play minute Roberto Nirvana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 3-0. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortuna 86 Szczecin. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Stipe Pletikosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaw Niewiadomski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stipe Pletikosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Nirvana in the 48th minute.

In the 55th minute, Harun Mengüer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 59th minute. Stipe Pletikosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 61st minute. After 68th play minutes Joel Gaona shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Stipe Pletikosa and just under the crossbar into goal. Fortuna 86 Szczecin made a substitution. Eugeniusz Rzeszutko replaced Lukasz Panikowski. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harun Mengüer in the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harun Mengüer in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play forced Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Harun Mengüer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harun Mengüer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. When Emil Gierasik fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna 86 Szczecin's protests and gave Emil Gierasik a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Emil Gierasik got a free kick in the 85th minute. Facundo Cadaval who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Stipe Pletikosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harun Mengüer in the 92nd minute of play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
