Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Veli Mirac, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Martin Slaninka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 34 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miroslav Motuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Miroslav Motuz was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, FC XY's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Miroslav Motuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Milagros Fraga. 53 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Miroslav Motuz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Motuz having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Zelenák, made in the 58th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes FC XY got a freekick which was hit by Antón Macejko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Motuz saved FC XY from getting behind. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslav Motuz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC XY's Miroslav Motuz did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Motuz saved FC XY from getting behind. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of FC XY booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC XY players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
