Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Nafarroa in the 5th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Lisandro Nafarroa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Monsalvo's Lisandro Nafarroa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Ikatz in the 18th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Ariando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Monsalvo's Paulino Ekhi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Paulino Ekhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Monsalvo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Andres Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres Ariando quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Nafarroa in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Ekhi in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Monsalvo's Lisandro Nafarroa in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 69 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsalvo the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Montrell in the 80th minute of the match. Teobaldo Montrell scored 5-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Monsalvo's Paulino Ekhi. But to his dismay, Paulino Ekhi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 94th minute, Teobaldo Montrell made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When Teobaldo Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Monsalvo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Montrell couldn't finish the play.
