Clóvis Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Turgut Zor scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-1. In the 47th minute, Matías de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turgut Zor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Zor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías de Senna in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turgut Zor in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Clóvis Quirino put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When Queluzito's Turgut Zor in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 96th minute Turgut Zor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turgut Zor took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Queluzito had played much better football throughout.
