Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Queluzito's goalie prevented a goal. Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Queluzito's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Paulo José Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo José Rodrigues quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Nando Lima struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queluzito. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo José Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 18th minute of play forced Queluzito's goalkeeper Paulo José Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Saelices's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo José Rodrigues was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 44thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Queluzito's goalkeeper Paulo José Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 minutes, Mazinho Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queluzito and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Mazinho Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Nunes's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Ian Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo José Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Queluzito from getting a goal against them. Queluzito's Mazinho Lara got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Mazinho Lara off the ground. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Queluzito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo José Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Lima in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Queluzito got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Percy Cabral ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Percy Cabral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Queluzito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Queluzito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
