Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Steelares FC's Emanuel Vasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute, Jacobo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Gartxot having to interfere. Luca Espinar took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Gartxot. Eloy Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eloy Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Emanuel Vasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Steelares FC's goalkeeper Eloy Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. Blas Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Eloy Gartxot came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Emanuel Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nicasio Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Steelares FC's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Gartxot came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Gartxot. Steelares FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After having played for 69 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas Bernabel hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nicasio Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Gartxot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Gartzi hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Steelares FC made a substitution. Silvestre Adrio replaced Blas Bernabel. In the 83rd minute, Jacobo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Gartxot having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Gartxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Steelares FC's Emanuel Vasco got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Steelares FC's Ovidio Quentin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Eloy Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 96th minute, Amadeo Marcones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Honduras had won after a very even match.
