In the 6th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Jose Carita in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by HEJA ESLÖV's Oskar Låsberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Johnsson in the 11th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deci Liberatore in the 12th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Askelöf made a huge save. In the 17th minute Deci Liberatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximilian Johnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Maximilian Johnsson scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Panama's Nils-Erik Askelöf threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The tension between the HEJA ESLÖV and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Tor Ekelund got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HEJA ESLÖV were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximilian Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. HEJA ESLÖV's Nils-Erik Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 51st minute of play. In the 79th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Askelöf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alguacil went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ion Stârcea hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. 92 minutes into the game, Maximilian Johnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. HEJA ESLÖV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
