Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Burriss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monty Peacock didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sakarias Berggren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montes during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 16th minute. Truman Hinton struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burriss. After a defensive mix-up in Burriss's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakarias Berggren came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sakarias Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Burriss's goalkeeper Sakarias Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Dobrin Cormoran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Burriss's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sakarias Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Friday Sobota got free with Julio Vera in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Burriss's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sakarias Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friday Sobota in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Burriss getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Răzvan Stanomir hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sakarias Berggren. Burriss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dobrin Cormoran to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Friday Sobota came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobrin Cormoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Truman Hinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monty Peacock's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monty Peacock helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Burriss getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Monty Peacock hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobrin Cormoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to Burriss getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Abe Atwood hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Burriss's goalkeeper Sakarias Berggren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Burriss's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Zorita 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sakarias Berggren made a huge save. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Burriss's Abe Atwood got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute Dobrin Cormoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Răzvan Stanomir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sakarias Berggren but with some difficulty. Dobrin Cormoran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friday Sobota in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Friday Sobota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burriss's supporters rose to their feet, but Friday Sobota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
