In the 6th minute Zachary Piechocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Tomaka in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Niewiadomski in the 9th minute of play. Antoni Gizynski hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Piechocki in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antoni Gizynski during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brunatni Bełchatów's Antoni Gizynski got a free kick in the 25th minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sonny Ahlerot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Gwidon Tomaka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sonny Ahlerot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Brunatni Bełchatów players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. The referee gave Brunatni Bełchatów a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olgierd Kaczanka, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 0-2. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Niewiadomski in the 39th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After the first half Brunatni Bełchatów were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Brunatni Bełchatów:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. Sonny Ahlerot had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Marian Warka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Stanislaw Smuskiewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-4. Brunatni Bełchatów made a substitution. Amir Hardjasoemantri replaced Waclaw Sitko. In the 73rd minute Edward Niewiadomski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brunatni Bełchatów made a substitution. Dobromir Mentis replaced Korneliusz Opat. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Warka in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Olgierd Kaczanka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brunatni Bełchatów. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brunatni Bełchatów's performance. The match ended with a win for Brunatni Bełchatów.
